Kutrieb Research™ is located on a 7-acre, privately owned site, with direct hard-surface access to the Chetek, WI Municipal airport. Over 40,000 square feet of space support gas turbine engine development and test.
We utilize state of the art software and hardware tools. Our skilled people and modern facility allows us to exceed customer expectations. Our unique vertical structure enables us to move from concept to running engine under one roof. Engine components are manufactured via a wide range of in-house tools. The latest in rapid prototyping machines (wax printing, SLA) support our vacuum investment casting foundry. The foundry is capable of pouring all modern, high temperature super-alloys. Complex castings are routinely produced and include integrally bladed turbines, nozzle and case segments, along with a wide range of other engine hardware.
Our ultra-modern machine shop takes advantage of simultaneous 5-axis milling, wire and die sink EDM, water jet cutting and precision grinding. Finally, engine assembly and test is supported by advanced rotating component balancing machinery and high-speed data acquisition equipped engine test cells.
